BUNKER/ADMIN

This winterized, carpeted and furnished building is the perfect breakout meeting place or building for evening activities.

Camper Cabins

Cabins 1 to 24 contain seven built-in bunk beds. Cabins are cinder block/brick exteriors and recently refurbished. Camper cabins are including with Dining Hall rental.

Cook’s Cabin

This cabin sits directly in front of the dining hall. It has built-in bunk beds and is only feet from the waterslide dock.

Dining hall

Ideal spot for a large group wanting to rent during the winter months, and can seat 225 for meals. Comes fully equipped with three televisions, a projector and speakers. The lower DH has an office, fireplace,.bathrooms and showers.

Directors cottage

This cabin is located near dining hall. There are two bedrooms each with a queen size bed. The bedrooms and living room are heated. The plumbing in this cabin is.operational seasonally from May – October.

END Section

These three side by side units are located behind the dining hall, minutes to the shoreline. They are winterized and each unit can sleep up to ten people in bunks.

Lion’s den

One of the most historic cabins in camp, this building was recently upgraded and winterized. It sits almost directly on the shoreline and offers beautiful views day and evening.

Nurse’s Cabin

This building has 5 sleeping rooms, two full washrooms (available seasonally) and has a front porch deck and a small sitting area with mini fridge, sink and cupboards.

Pat mcGrath Cabin

This building has 3 bedrooms each with 2 beds. There is a an entrance / sitting room, and washroom with shower. Plumbing is operational seasonally from May-October.

Craft Hut

Used for art programs during the summer, this bright space is a great option for break-out meetings or small social events.

A modern shower building with 12 shower units provides comfort for your stay, and is included in our basic rental package.

Waterfront Cabin

This storage unit holds all water sport equipment, including adult and child-sized lifejackets, and canoe, kayak and rowboat paddles.

Naturelore

Our naturelore hut serves as the centre for our summer ecology program, and is a great option for school groups looking to add an environmental education focus to their rental.

FACILITATION SERVICES

Christie Lake Kids is pleased to offer facilitation services at our campsite.
These activities make for great team-building opportunities for your group

Low ropes course

Includes 5 low-ropes stations.
Time: Approximately 1.5-2 hours

Christie Lake Kids staff will work with you to create a facilitated experience that meets your group's goals. Each activity is led and debriefed by our staff, creating a guided and safe atmosphere that builds tea, skills such as communication, trust and respect. Our low-ropes course is an excellent opportunity to build new skills in a fun and engaging outdoor environment.

Guided Canoe Trip on Christie Lake

Includes beginner canoeing lesson.
Time: Approximately 3.5-4 hours

Character Development Programming

Our programs are fully customizable to create a setting for participants to explore and practice ideas like service, respect and kindness Our staff have extensive experience working with schools to create and implement programs that foster immersive opportunities to learn and grow.

Outdoor Education

With 88 acres of lakefront property and equipment for any outdoor experience, our camp facilities provide an excellent setting for your group, and with heated cabins we are open year round for rentals. We also are fully equipped for outdoor education groups, with canoes, cross-country skis, snowshoes, mountain bikes and camping gear. We also provide a private rental experience for groups of 10-20 on our fully sustainable leadership island, a great and affordable choice for any small outdoor education group.

Rock Climbing

Our 30 foot climbing wall provides an excellent opportunity to conquer your fears, strengthen team bonds and reach new heights. With four routes, our rock wall challenges climbers to overcome obstacles with the support of our certified staff. This experience is an excellent facilitated addition to your Christie Lake Camp rental.

School Group Activities

In addition to experiential programs, our staff can provide a fun day of outdoor activities for your group. All facilitated activities at Christie Lake Camp are run in accordance with OPHEA guidelines, and focus on helping students to enjoy their time in an outdoor setting. Our facilities are well equipped to host sports tournaments such as volleyball, soccer, hockey and basketball, including facilitated adventure programs encouraging students to have fun while working together as a team.
